KARA's Kang Jiyoung Shares Memories with Gu Hara on Their 15th Debut Anniversary

KARA's Kang Jiyoung celebrated her and Gu Hara's 15th debut anniversary.

KARA debuted as a 4-member group in 2007. Kang Jiyoung and Gu Hara joined the group on July 24, 2008, as new members after the departure of member Kim Sunghee, and today marks their 15th debut anniversary. Gu Hara passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 28.

On the 24th, Kang Jiyoung posted on her SNS, "Congratulations. I love you. 20080724," along with photos of her and Gu Hara. The photos captured their memories from their early debut days to more glamorous and mature moments.

She continued, "I debuted at the age of 15, and already half of my life has passed. I was a young and clueless kid, and now I'm already approaching 30 years old. I can't say anything grand, but I just want to say that I'm doing well and not to worry. I miss you."

Meanwhile, last year, KARA(Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Nicole, Kang Jiyoung, Youngji) celebrated their 15th debut anniversary with all members gathering to release the new song "When I Move."
