MBLAQ's Thunder and GUGUDAN's Mimi Confirm Relationship, Planning to Marry Next Year

Former MBLAQ member Thunder and former Gugudan member Mimi are currently in a romantic relationship.

On the 14th, Thunder and Mimi individually revealed their relationship through handwritten letters on Instagram.

Thunder stated, "Through KBS2's 'Second House,' I am announcing my relationship with Mimi."

He continued, "At first, I had many worries and lacked courage, but I gathered the courage for the person I want to spend my life with. She always supports me calmly, understands me warmly, and protects me firmly. From now on, I will show a responsible and happy self for Mimi."

He added, "I am grateful to the fans who have loved and supported me. I will continue to passionately pursue music and show my best as an artist. Mimi, thank you for being the reason for my existence."

Mimi shared, "I have found someone whom I want to spend my life with. During our time together, this person has always been by my side, supporting me and giving me strength during difficult times, and leading me to grow. I would be grateful if you could support our future with warm eyes."

According to iMBC Entertainment, Thunder and Mimi are preparing for their wedding ceremony, aiming for the second half of next year.

Thunder and Mimi officially revealed on the KBS 2TV show 'Second House 2,' which aired on the 13th, that they have been in a relationship for four years.

Thunder debuted as a member of MBLAQ in 2009 and has been active as a solo artist since leaving the group in 2014. He is known to be the younger brother of 2NE1's Sandara Park.

Mimi debuted as a member of Gugudan in 2016 and actively promoted with the group until their disbandment in December 2020. She has also pursued acting in addition to her singing career.
