Mnet's 'I-LAND' to Launch Season 2 for Global Girl Group Debut Project

Mnet's 'I-LAND', the show that produced the group ENHYPEN, is set to begin production for Season 2.

Mnet announced on the 10th that they will be recruiting participants for the global girl group debut project 'I-LAND 2' in collaboration with entertainment agency WAKEONE. The program is scheduled to air in the first half of 2024 and will accept applicants from around the world regardless of nationality.

This audition is open to females born before January 1, 2011, regardless of nationality. The application period is from the 10th until midnight on August 6th (Korean time). Applicants are required to submit an application form, self-introduction, and vocal/rap and dance videos. Detailed information can be found on the program's official website.

Season 1 of 'I-LAND' was broadcasted in June 2020. It depicted the competition process among participants who moved between the 'I-LAND' and 'Ground' spaces, showcasing their growth as they pursued their dream of debut within a unique worldview. Through this program, ENHYPEN(HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, JUNGWON, NI-KI)made their debut and gained love from global fans.

The girl group that will be formed through 'I-LAND 2' will be under the label WAKEONE, a subsidiary of CJ ENM. WAKEONE is home to various artists, including the boy group ZEROBASEONE formed through 'Boys Planet' and the girl group Kep1er formed through 'Girls Planet 999', as well as artists such as TO1, Davichi, Roy Kim, and Jo Yuri.
