Referral of two online abusers to the prosecution
Two individuals who posted malicious content targeting Taeyeon have been referred to the prosecution.


On the 22nd, SM Entertainment provided an update on the progress of the legal action against the individuals who have posted malicious comments about singer Taeyeon.
Through their artist rights protection center, KWANGYA 119, SM Entertainment stated, "Currently, the police have identified and are investigating six individuals in relation to the filed complaints. Four of them are currently under investigation, while two have been forwarded to the prosecution for indictment. In addition, numerous other cases are being investigated, and we await further progress. We will continue to provide updates on the final outcomes and any additional investigations regarding the cases forwarded for indictment."
Furthermore, SM Entertainment emphasized their commitment to actively monitor and take legal action to protect their artists, stating, "We will continue to take strong legal measures to address various illegal activities." They also promised to protect the rights of their artists and ensure a strict response.

KWANGYA 119 is a reporting center established by SM Entertainment to protect the rights of their artists. Since the 21st, the center has allowed users to report and provide information through sections such as artist defamation reports, reports on illegal tickets/copyright infringement, correction reports & opinions, and service inquiries on their website.
