Samsung's new $3,300 special edition phone is open to public.
On Aug. 5, 2020 (Korea time), Samsung electronics opened 'Samsung Galaxy Unpack 2020' event on online. In this event, Samsung revealed variety of models, such as 'Galaxy Note 20', 'Galaxy Tab S7', 'Galaxy Watch 3' and most notable 'Galaxy Z Fold 2'.
'Galaxy Z Fold 2' got bigger screens than its predecessor. 6.2 inch cover display and 7.6 inch main display brought crowd's attention. The price of this phone has not been release yet. It is speculating that, the phone would cost around the same price as a previous model ($2,000 estimated).
Samsung also released partial information about 'Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition'. Multiple sources said that price of the phone will cost around 3,300 dollars. 'Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition' package will include 'Galaxy Buds Live' and 'Galaxy Watch 3'. The phone's detailed info will be available on Sep. 1st.

“디자인이 미쳤네...” 삼성전자 400만 원짜리 휴대폰 드디어 공개됐다
삼성전자가 출시 준비 중인 약 400만 원짜리 한정판 스마트폰 디자인이 공개됐다.
지난 5일(한국시각) 삼성전자는 '삼성 갤럭시 언팩 2020' 행사를 온라인으로 열었다. 이 자리에서는 '갤럭시 노트 20', '갤럭시 탭 S7', '갤럭시 워치 3'를 비롯해 많은 기대를 받았던 '갤럭시 Z 폴드 2' 모델이 발표됐다.
'갤럭시 Z 폴드 2'는 전작에 비해 전면 커버 디스플레이가 획기적으로 커졌다. 6.2인치 커버 디스플레이와 7.6인치 메인 디스플레이는 공개되자마자 뜨거운 반응이 이어졌다. 구체적인 가격은 공개되지 않았으나 전작(239만 원)과 큰 차이가 없을 것으로 알려졌다.
이와 함께 한정판인 '갤럭시 Z 폴드 2 톰 브라운 에디션' 정보도 공개됐다. 다음 달 1일 구체적으로 공개되는 톰 브라운 에디션은 여러 매체에 의하면 400만 원에 달하는 가격으로 알려져 있다.
'갤럭시 Z 폴드 2 톰 브라운 에디션'은 브랜드 시그니처 로고가 전면에 디자인됐다. 지난 3월 발매된 '갤럭시 Z 플립 톰 브라운 에디션'과 비슷하게 회색이 주를 이루며, 패키지에는 갤럭시 버즈 라이브, 워치 등이 포함된다.
이날 모델로 나선 BTS 역시 톰 브라운의 수트를 입고 등장했다. 톰 브라운 에디션의 구체적인 발매일과 가격은 다음 달 1일 공개된다.
