Appearing on the YouTube channel VivoTV in a video titled “Driving with Ji Ye-eun, Who Actually Doesn’t Know How to Swear,” Ji Ye-eun opened up about her unique preparation for the show. To participate in the production, she earned a boating license, which didn’t come easy. “The practical test was manageable, but the written one was really tough,” she laughed. “I went so often that the test center staff started recognizing me and even wished me luck. I went almost every other day.”

The filming took place on Ulleungdo, a remote island known for its stunning natural scenery. Ji Ye-eun confessed that the island’s beauty had a powerful emotional effect on her. “I don’t usually enjoy traveling and prefer staying home, but Ulleungdo was so beautiful it moved me to tears. I actually felt regret that I’d been missing out on nature all this time.”

When asked by host Song Eun-i about her chemistry with co-stars Jin and Kian84, Ji Ye-eun got personal:

“We became close quickly through shared struggles, but honestly, I was nervous around Jin. He’s such a world star, I didn’t know how to approach him. I was worried people might hate me just for being seen with him.”

Despite her initial hesitation, Ji Ye-eun said their dynamic evolved naturally during filming.

“In the end, we had real sibling-like chemistry. Jin and I fought like siblings the whole time — so much that Kian84 had to step in and break us up!”

Ji Ye-eun also expressed her excitement about the show’s success. “It was released yesterday (as of filming) and it’s already ranked #3,” she shared. “I really care about how well a project does, and I hope a lot of people find it enjoyable because we worked so hard.”

Despite saying she’d never do something like it again right after filming, Ji Ye-eun admitted with a smile:

“Of course I’d do it again. It was an unforgettable experience.”

Ji Ye-eun made her acting debut in 2017 with the web drama Howlu and later gained attention through her comedic performances on SNL Korea. She’s currently a cast member on SBS’s “Running Man”, having stepped in as the youngest member following Jeon So-min’s departure.
