The two stars are expected to showcase their hidden wit and surprising charms throughout the show.

From the moment he steps into the rooftop set, Lee Jun-young struggles to hide his nerves, his ears visibly turning red.

He candidly admits,

"I'm very shy around new people, so it takes me a while to open up."

MC Hong Jin-kyung, watching him closely, can’t help but exclaim,

"He’s even better looking in person!"

As a self-confessed superfan of Netflix’s hit When Life Gives You Tangerines (폭싹 속았수다), Hong Jin-kyung is especially thrilled — having been shocked to learn that Lee Jun-young played IU’s ex-boyfriend in the series.

She fires off a playful and unexpected comment that leaves Lee Jun-young visibly flustered.

Enjoying the warm welcome, Lee Jun-young reveals he himself is a huge fan of Hong Jin-kyung.

In When Life Gives You Tangerines, he portrayed Yeong-beom, the earnest boyfriend of IU’s character Geum-myeong, delivering a performance full of heartfelt sincerity.

Yet, off-screen, Lee Jun-young has also built a reputation for playing villains flawlessly in dramas like D.P., Mask Girl, and Weak Hero Class 2, earning him the cheeky nickname “good-looking trash” for his convincing dark roles.

He admits that after intense villain performances,

"I needed emotional detox — just seeing Hong Jin-kyung helped reset my feelings."

Throughout the shoot, he is said to have gazed fondly at Hong Jin-kyung, bursting into laughter at her spontaneous antics like a true fanboy.

Meanwhile, Jung Eun-ji shares her experience acting alongside Lee Jun-young.

She explains that, unlike her previous co-stars Seo In-guk and Choi Jin-hyuk, Lee Jun-young — being closer in age — made it easier for her to act naturally, adding,

"It was the most comfortable chemistry I’ve had so far."

Seizing the moment, the rooftop MCs throw a playful but tough question at Lee Jun-young:

"Between IU, Pyo Ye-jin, and Jung Eun-ji, who did you feel most comfortable working with?"

The unexpected question leaves him sweating and struggling for an answer, heightening curiosity about who he’ll ultimately choose.

Problem Child in House airs May 1 at 8:30 p.m. on KBS2.
