From Model Charm to Acting Depth: Lee Jun-young's Breakthrough.
Actor Lee Jun-young opened up about his honest feelings toward ''When Life Gives You Tangerines''.

On April 29, fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar unveiled its May issue pictorial and interview with Lee Jun-young.
In the released photos, Lee Jun-young showcases casual styling and poses with the finesse of a professional model. His natural yet free-spirited charm immediately draws attention. During the interview that followed the shoot, he shared stories about the Netflix series ''When Life Gives You Tangerines'', which has become a global phenomenon, ranking in the Top 10 across 39 countries.

In ''When Life Gives You Tangerines'', Lee portrayed Yeong-beom, a pure-hearted young man devoted entirely to his girlfriend Geum-myeong (played by IU). When asked, "Why did he act that way?" he laughed and replied, "I know, right? Why didn’t he bring her some scorched rice tea? Everyone I meet these days asks me the same thing, and honestly, I’m frustrated too."
He added, "My mother has already rewatched the drama four or five times. She cries every time. As a family, we’ve rarely had such detailed conversations about a project I’ve been in, but because ''When Life Gives You Tangerines'' touches on family love that resonates across all generations, it made those discussions possible," expressing his deep affection for the series.

Lee Jun-young recently made a strong impression with a complete transformation in the Netflix series ''Weak Hero Class 2'', released on April 25. Regarding his role as Geum Seong-je, he shared, "Director Han Jun-hee told me, 'This character is just you, Jun-young.' That's why I took on the role. In many ways, Geum Seong-je mirrors who I am. The romantic side of Lee Jun-young as a person definitely lives within Seong-je," heightening anticipation for his performance.

Meanwhile, Lee Jun-young is set to meet viewers again in the upcoming KBS2 drama ''Pump Up the Healthy Love'', which premieres on May 30. He will play the lead role of Do Hyeon-joong.
