In the music video, Kim Sae-ron radiates a bright smile in scenes with her co-stars, while also delivering deeply emotional performances with tearful moments that highlight her acting depth.

Guitar Man was a labor of love led by Lee Sun-jung, who invested, produced, directed, and even starred in the film while actively promoting her band, Lee Sun-jung Band.

Reflecting on Kim Sae-ron, Lee said, "She brought so much bright energy and passion to the set. I truly wished she would make a powerful comeback. I hope she is now happy in a world without pain, just like the title of the song."

Director Lee also announced that “All proceeds from the Guitar Man OST will be donated entirely to the Korea Suicide Prevention Center.”

Debuting in 2001 as a child magazine model, Kim Sae-ron made her acting debut in the 2009 film A Brand New Life. She rose to fame after her delicate, unforgettable performance in the 2010 film The Man From Nowhere alongside Won Bin. Throughout her career, she starred in numerous films including I Am a Dad, The Neighbors, Barbie, A Girl at My Door, Manhole, Snowy Road, and The Villagers.

She also left a strong mark on television with series like Can You Hear My Heart, Mom Is Acting Up, The Queen’s Classroom, Hi! School: Love On, Glamorous Temptation, Mirror of the Witch, Leverage: Fraud Control Operation, and The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim.

Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron’s family and Kim Soo-hyun remain entangled in an ongoing legal dispute. Kim Sae-ron had previously claimed they dated for several years during her teenage years — a claim that Kim Soo-hyun’s agency firmly denied, stating they shared no special relationship beyond brief professional acquaintance. The actor has taken legal action against the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute for defamation.

While these unrelated controversies stirred conversation, Guitar Man remains the true focus — highlighting Kim Sae-ron’s bright passion for acting and music during her lifetime. Fans and industry peers continue to remember and honor her for her genuine talent and the warmth she brought both on and off screen.
