Are G-Dragon and Lee Joo-yeon Back Together? Matching Photos Spark New Dating Rumors

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and singer-actress Lee Joo-yeon are once again at the center of dating rumors.

Recently, online speculation has been growing that the two stars might have rekindled their relationship. The rumors started after fans noticed similarities between the background of a recent selfie posted by Lee Joo-yeon and the interior of G-Dragon’s home.

The speculation began with a selfie Lee Joo-yeon uploaded to her personal account on April 27. In the photo, she is seen sitting on a black sofa next to a cat, looking directly at the camera.

Fans quickly pointed out that the sofa and the arrangement of picture frames in the background closely resembled the known interior of G-Dragon’s house. Additionally, the cat in Lee Joo-yeon’s photo appeared to be wearing the same scarf seen on G-Dragon’s pet cat.

This is not the first time the two have been caught up in dating rumors.

In 2017, G-Dragon and Lee Joo-yeon were first rumored to be dating, but both sides denied the relationship, stating they were simply close colleagues.

In 2019, Lee Joo-yeon posted — and quickly deleted — a video of herself with G-Dragon on her account. The video, which used a deer face filter and showed the two looking friendly, rapidly spread across online communities, reigniting speculation.

Later that same year, both G-Dragon and Lee Joo-yeon were spotted sharing photos from similar locations, including paragliding and dining at the same restaurant.

An entertainment outlet even reported that the two had secretly traveled together to Jeju Island. At the time, neither side released an official statement addressing the rumors.

After being linked romantically a total of four times, renewed interest in their relationship has sparked once again with these latest observations.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon has had a long history of high-profile dating rumors. Since 2010, he has been linked to Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara, Chinese actress Angelababy, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Japanese actress and model Nana Komatsu, 2NE1’s Sandara Park, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie — totaling eight notable rumors over the years.
