Betrayal Shatters the Perfect Chaebol Life.
The queen of daily dramas is back — and this time, it’s personal. Ham Eunjung, who stole the spotlight with over 15% ratings in her previous hit series, is set to lead another revenge-fueled melodrama, ''Queen’s House'', premiering April 28 at 7:50 PM KST on KBS2.

This upcoming daily drama is already generating major buzz before its premiere, promising a gripping tale of betrayal and transformation. The story follows Kang Jae-in, the seemingly perfect daughter of a chaebol family, whose world shatters overnight after a devastating betrayal by those closest to her.
From Ratings Queen to Revenge Heroine
Ham’s return comes just six months after wrapping up ''Suji & Uri'', which earned a peak rating of 15.9% and cemented her as the queen of daily dramas. Her performance won her both the Excellence Award and Best Couple Award at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards.
In ''Queen’s House'', she steps into the role of Kang Jae-in, the elite youngest design team leader at YL Group and daughter of its chairman. Although raised in privilege, Jae-in longs for a simple life — until betrayal by her husband and best friend turns her world upside down.

A Dark Love Triangle and Twisted Ambitions
Park Yoon-jae plays Hwang Ki-chan, Jae-in’s husband and the YL Group's planning director, who hides a dangerous secret: he’s fallen for Jae-in’s best friend, Kang Se-ri — played by Lee Ga-ryeong. What begins as a picture-perfect marriage unravels into forbidden love and toxic jealousy. Se-ri, driven by warped admiration, envy, and vanity, seeks to steal everything Jae-in has.
Crushed by betrayal, Jae-in rises from despair, transforming into a woman on a mission to take back her life. As her revenge deepens, secrets are exposed and tensions explode.
Also joining the cast is Seo Jun-young as Kim Do-yoon, a renowned thoracic surgeon whose life takes a shocking turn. His path of revenge intertwines with Jae-in’s, adding another layer to the drama’s spiraling suspense. “Do-yoon is a decisive character — he doesn’t hesitate when it comes to revenge,” Seo revealed. “Balancing his calm exterior and burning inner rage was a challenge I embraced.”

High-Speed Storytelling, Maximum Suspense
Unlike traditional daily dramas, ''Queen’s House'' promises faster pacing and tighter storytelling. Ham herself said, “This project is different from my previous ones. The betrayal, the emotional depth, and the speed of the plot felt fresh and compelling. I think viewers will really enjoy this new side of me.”
This marks Ham’s fifth lead role in a KBS daily drama, continuing her impressive streak following ''Love on a Rooftop'', ''Love Twist'', and ''Be My Dream Family''. With intense psychological warfare, unexpected twists, and explosive performances, ''Queen’s House'' is ready to dominate the evening slot — and keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
