It all started when a comment on a January episode of the Youtube variety show ''Fairy(Yo-Jung) Jaehyung'' began gaining attention on online community forums. The video, which featured Song Hye-kyo as a guest, received a comment titled “A good deed by Hye-kyo I can’t keep to myself anymore.” The story that followed struck a chord with thousands.

The commenter shared that years ago, a professor had publicly criticized celebrity endorsement fees as a factor in inflating apartment prices. The professor sent letters to several celebrities featured in housing ads, but most ignored it—except Song Hye-kyo. She was the only one to respond and chose not to renew her apartment advertisement contract afterward.

But the story doesn’t stop there.

The same commenter shared another act of kindness from about 20 years ago. While filming a commercial, Song Hye-kyo had the opportunity to award a scholarship to a student from a low-income family. Originally, this moment was supposed to be filmed as part of the advertisement. However, Song expressed concern that publicly receiving such help might embarrass the student, especially at a sensitive age. She insisted on delivering the scholarship privately. “She had depth and compassion even at a young age,” the commenter wrote. “Isn’t she an angel?”

The post has now racked up over 8,200 likes, with even the ''Fairy Jaehyung'' team giving it a thumbs-up. The comment section quickly filled with praise for Song, cementing her status as a steady stream of good deeds.
