'Model Irene Reveals Why She Kept Her Relationship a Secret Before Marriage'

Model and TV personality Irene appeared as a special MC on SBS’s variety show Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny.

On the April 21 episode, figure skating legend Park Seung-hee and her husband Eom Jun-tae joined the show as a new couple, while Irene made a guest appearance as a special MC.

Irene, who recently announced that she will be marrying a non-celebrity businessman on May 23, caught viewers’ attention with her appearance just ahead of her wedding.

She revealed that her favorite shows lately have been Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 and The Divorce Consideration Camp, joking, “They feel like a wedding prep manual to me,” drawing laughs from the studio. Seo Jang-hoon, who also hosts Divorce Consideration Camp, responded with a warm “Thank you.” Irene added, “There are many experienced couples here, so I came to get some advice.”

When asked about her soon-to-be husband, Irene shared, “I usually talk a lot about my relationships with friends, but this time, I wanted to cherish it—so I kept it private.” Her words piqued even more curiosity. She then added, “He has a nice voice, looks like a golden retriever, and his nickname is ‘Puppy.’ He’s reliable and taller than me,” expressing her affection openly. She also revealed that the day of filming marked their 2nd dating anniversary.

Born in 1987, Irene has built a diverse career as a model, entertainer, and influencer. She’s appeared on numerous variety shows, including as a regular on Kick a Goal, while continuing her modeling career.
