From returning stars to intriguing new faces — here's the can't-miss cast lineup.
Disney+ has officially confirmed the production of Season 2 of its original Korean series A Shop for Killers, signaling a bold return after its successful debut. Following widespread acclaim across Asia, the announcement of the new season’s casting lineup has sent fans into a frenzy of anticipation.

Released in January last year, Season 1 topped Disney+’s TV show rankings in South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong during its first week, while landing at No.2 in Japan and No.3 in Singapore. With an 8.6 IMDb rating, it stood shoulder to shoulder with other standout Korean series like Moving and The Worst of Evil.

A Shop for Killers blends emotional backstory with high-octane action, focusing on the past between orphaned niece Jian and her uncle Jinman. The story revolves around the dark web weapons network “MurderHelp,” featuring a mix of shootouts, chase scenes, unpredictable twists, and game-like stylistic visuals. The mystery deepens as Jian dives into the world her uncle left behind, confronting unknown enemies and shocking revelations.
Though some viewers noted repetition in flashbacks and moments of unrealistic logic in Season 1, the series was praised for its original universe, fast-paced narrative, and on-screen chemistry, quickly becoming a breakout hit. Demand for a second season only grew louder.
On April 21, Disney+ officially greenlit Season 2 and revealed both returning cast and exciting new additions.
Returning Cast
Lee Dong-wook reprises his role as Jeong Jinman, the ex-mercenary and mastermind behind MurderHelp.
Kim Hye-jun returns as Jian, Jinman’s niece and the series’ emotional core.
Keum Hae-na, Lee Tae-young, and Kim Min are back as Min Hye, Brother, and Fashin, key players in the MurderHelp syndicate — including roles like operations lead, weapons specialist, and Muay Thai trainer.

New Faces, New Tension
Hyunri, a Korean-Japanese actress, joins as Q, the cold and tactical head of Babylon’s East Asia mercenary unit. Q will play a central role in Season 2’s storyline.
Masaki Okada joins as Jay, Q’s younger brother and co-leader of the unit — hinting at a complicated sibling dynamic within the mercenary world.
Jung Yoon-ha takes on the role of Kusanagi, the top leader of Babylon, who introduces a new power structure to the story.
Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2026. Fans are eager to see how the open-ended storylines and unresolved character mysteries from Season 1 will expand — particularly the looming conflict between MurderHelp and Babylon, two underground empires poised for war.
With bold performances and meticulously choreographed action sequences expected to reach new heights, A Shop for Killers Season 2 promises to push genre boundaries once again.
Disney+ has made it clear: this new season is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its Korean original content lineup and solidify its presence in the global streaming market. A Shop for Killers looks ready to redefine action-thriller storytelling — all over again.
