“Didn’t You Date My Friend?” — Kwon Eun-bi Corners Yang Se-chan Over Idol Dating Past

Singer Kwon Eun-bi (member of IZ*ONE) caught comedian Yang Se-chan completely off guard by bringing up his rumored dating past—specifically, with a former idol.

In the April 17 episode of the YouTube show SsookSsook, titled "Eunbiyeop, We Met. Ahanghahangha", Kwon Eun-bi appeared as the guest for the show’s 8th episode of the segment Moji-ri is Everything. During a one-on-one fan meeting segment with Yang Se-chan, things took an unexpected turn.

“I looked you up online, and it said you dated an idol. Is that why you always chase idols around?” Kwon Eun-bi asked playfully, leaving Yang visibly flustered. The moment echoed a past Running Man episode where HaHa revealed that Yang Se-chan once dated an idol—shocking cast and viewers alike.

Trying to recover, Yang quickly denied it while nervously sipping water: “I’ve never dated an idol. I didn’t actually date one, really.”

But Kwon Eun-bi wasn’t letting it go. “But you dated someone I know—an unnie I know,” she pressed. Yang fired back, “She’s not your unnie!” to which Eun-bi laughed and insisted, “Yes, she is!”

Flustered, Yang Se-chan responded, “What do you mean someone you know? That doesn’t even make sense,” continuing to deny the connection. Kwon Eun-bi teased further, warning, “Be careful. Word spreads fast among idols. If you date one, we all find out.”

Yang, in mock frustration, replied, “Why are idols so chatty?!”

The hilarious exchange left viewers laughing, and once again stirred curiosity around Yang Se-chan’s past relationships.
