On April 16 (local time), American news magazine TIME revealed its annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World — commonly known as the TIME 100 — and Rosé made the prestigious list. First launched in 2004, the TIME 100 spans six categories: Artists, Icons, Leaders, Titans, Pioneers, and Innovators.

Rosé was selected in the Pioneers category, which honors individuals who are trailblazers in their fields and who shape the times by opening new paths. She was recognized for her artistic influence and the massive global success of her duet with Bruno Mars, “APT.”, released in October last year — a song that sparked a worldwide phenomenon.

Actress Lily Collins, who wrote the accompanying tribute for TIME, praised Rosé as “a dynamic performer and songwriter, a member of the world’s top girl group, and a solo artist in her own right.”

Collins continued, “Her ability to command the stage and captivate audiences everywhere is truly remarkable.”

In December 2024, Rosé released her first full-length solo album rosie, which included the pre-release mega hit “APT.”, the introspective “number one girl,” and the emotional “toxic till the end,” which also gained attention for Rosé’s powerful acting in the music video. The album showcased a range of musical styles and resonated with fans around the globe.
