BTS Dominates Idol Group Brand Rankings!
According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on April 17, BTS ranked No. 1 in the idol group brand reputation rankings for April 2025. SEVENTEEN came in second, followed by IVE in third place.

Koo Chang-hwan, Director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, “In April 2025’s idol group brand reputation rankings, BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) took the top spot. Based on link analysis, keywords such as ‘donate,’ ‘perform,’ and ‘release’ showed high relevance for BTS. In keyword analysis, terms like ‘ARMY,’ ‘Billboard,’ and ‘military hiatus’ stood out.”

The Brand Reputation Index is developed through big data analysis of consumers’ online behavior, which significantly influences brand consumption. It reflects the level of public interest and engagement, capturing both positive and negative sentiments toward idol groups, media coverage, consumer interaction, and social buzz. Qualitative assessments from the brand reputation monitor are also included.
This analysis combines both boy groups and girl groups under a unified category. It evaluates each group's participation index, media index, communication index, and community index, ultimately forming a comprehensive brand reputation score.
