A Tribute of Love.
ASTRO and a group of close friends and fellow musicians will release a new single in memory of the late Moonbin.

According to his agency Fantagio on April 17, the tribute track titled 'Moon: Memory of the Moon’ will be released on April 19 at 6 PM KST. The song features ASTRO members MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha; VIVIZ; MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, Kihyun, and I.M; SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, DK, and Seungkwan, former ASTRO member Rocky, Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon, SF9’s Chani, Stray Kids’ Bang Chan, and Moonbin’s younger sister, Moon Sua of Billlie.

The track was created by Moonbin’s loved ones — friends, family, and fellow artists — to honor his memory. It is filled with heartfelt wishes, hoping to bring comfort to fans who continue to love and remember him deeply.
This release follows ASTRO’s JinJin having dropped a duet single ‘Fly (Duet with Moonbin)’ on April 19 of last year, a song that he personally wrote and composed. That track also featured Moonbin’s vocals and served as a meaningful gift for fans mourning his passing.
In addition to the tribute single, ASTRO also announced a special full-group concert. Fantagio shared, “Because this is a concert being held under the ASTRO name for the first time in a while, we had deep discussions with the members and invited Rocky, a former member, to join.” They added, “The concert will focus on reviving precious memories between ASTRO and their fans, AROHA. Rocky will perform with the members in stages he originally took part in.”
Rocky was a member of ASTRO from their debut in 2016 until he departed the group in 2023.
Moonbin, who began his career as a child actor, debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016 and remained active in music and entertainment. He tragically passed away on April 19, 2023, at the young age of 25.
