After 4 Years, 'Hospital Playlist'’s Beloved Band Mido and Falasol Drop a Huge Surprise!

Korea’s most beloved band is making a long-awaited comeback!

Mido and Falasol, the band formed by actors Jo Jung-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Jung Kyung-ho, Kim Dae-myung, and Jeon Mi-do in the hit medical drama Hospital Playlist, is returning after four years — this time with a brand-new song for the spin-off drama Resident Playbook.

According to Studio MaumC on April 16, the OST sung by Mido and Falasol for the tvN weekend drama Resident Playbook (created by Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung, directed by Lee Min-soo, written by Kim Song-hee) will be released on April 20 at 6 PM KST through various streaming platforms.

Mido and Falasol gained immense popularity through Hospital Playlist Seasons 1 and 2, with their soundtrack releases dominating Korean music charts. Their heartfelt performances and musical chemistry became as iconic as the drama itself.

Now, the band is returning to support Resident Playbook — a spin-off that follows a new generation of residents striving to become wise doctors someday. Their participation in the OST is said to reflect their encouragement and support for the fresh cast and new storylines.

Cameo Appearances from the Original Cast

Excitement is growing not only for the music but also for the frequent cameos by the Hospital Playlist cast in Resident Playbook. Director Shin Won-ho confirmed, “There are many rumors about special appearances. I can say that characters from Hospital Playlist will show up in nearly every episode.”

“Some scenes will be light and fun, while others will serve as meaningful connections to the story.”

He also teased that Kim Jun-han will appear in this week’s episode.
