G-Dragon Set to Rock LIV Golf Korea—The Surprise Final Addition Everyone’s Talking About

K-pop icon G-Dragon will take the stage at the LIV Golf Korea concert, a major entertainment event tied to the upcoming golf tournament being held in Korea for the first time.

On April 16, Coupang Play announced, “G-Dragon has been confirmed as the final performer for the ‘LIV Golf Korea Concert with Coupang Play,’ which will take place after the tournament’s final round on May 4.”

With G-Dragon joining the lineup, the LIV Golf Korea concert boasts an impressive roster of artists including Gummy, Dynamic Duo, IVE, and KiiiKiii, promising a vibrant musical finale to the sports event.

Backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), LIV Golf has drawn attention for its innovative format that breaks away from traditional tournament styles. The tournament is played over three rounds with no cut-off, and under its slogan “Golf but Louder,” every event is infused with a festival-like atmosphere — complete with live concerts.

LIV Golf Korea will be held from May 2 to 4 at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon.

The tournament will feature top-tier international golfers including Spain’s Jon Rahm and American players Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka, along with Jang Yu-bin, the first Korean player to sign with LIV Golf.

Coupang Play will begin general ticket sales for LIV Golf Korea on April 17 at 8 p.m. Ticket options include the standard “Ground” pass, the “Ground Plus” pass with access to exclusive zones in the F&B and concert areas, and premium tickets. Fans can choose between single-day and three-day passes.
