When Life Gives You Tangerines actor Park Hae-joon reveals on tvN's You Quiz on the Block
On April 15, a preview clip from the tvN show You Quiz on the Block was released on the show’s official YouTube channel, titled: "National Dad Actor Park Hae-joon! From His Tear-Free Maltese Family to a Truly Heartwarming 'Real-Life Gwan-sik' Moment."

During the episode, Park Hae-joon humorously addressed his iconic line from The World of the Married—“Falling in love isn’t a crime”—saying:
“Now that My Name is Loh Kiwan is out, ‘sappa-jwoe-ah’ (the line) has been forgotten,” with a laugh.
But the real heartwarming moment came when his two sons showed up on set to cheer him on.
Yoo Jae-suk, seeing the older son, commented,
“He kind of looks like Park Bo-gum’s child actor. That vibe definitely carries over.”
Jo Se-ho agreed, adding, “He’s really handsome.”

Encouraged by their reactions, Park Hae-joon smiled and said,
“If I may brag, he’s been doing [something unspecified] for a long time. It feels really good to brag about your kids.”
The segment gave viewers a glimpse into Park’s real-life “dad mode,” reminiscent of his warm-hearted My Name is Loh Kiwan character, Gwan-sik.
When asked how he got into acting, Park revealed:
“I randomly got into the Korea National University of Arts, but I actually got kicked out. I wanted to act so badly that I applied again—and stayed in school for almost 10 years.”
When Yoo Jae-suk brought up how hard it must’ve been to afford tuition, Park expressed his gratitude to his parents:
“I’m so thankful to my mom and dad. They helped me a lot.”
He also admitted he had support with housing as well:
“They helped me get a good place on a rental deposit.”
Yoo Jae-suk laughed and quipped,
“You were way more dependent on your family than I expected,” making everyone laugh.
Park Hae-joon’s full episode of You Quiz on the Block airs on April 16 at 8:45 PM KST on tvN.
