From Gehlee to Elisia, the Girls Talk Gimbap, Tteokbokki, and “SWICY” Flavors at Their Comeback Showcase
Girl group UNIS officially returned with their second mini album SWICY on April 15, and at their comeback showcase held at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, the members had a tasty topic to discuss—spicy and sweet Korean food.

The album title SWICY, a portmanteau of sweet + spicy, isn’t just a musical concept—it’s a full-on vibe that even made its way into their food preferences.
Gehlee Got Hooked on… Gochujang Cookies?
“I tried a gochujang-flavored cookie while filming the music video,” said Gehlee. “It had such a unique swicy taste—I totally fell for it!”

Elisia’s Pick: Gimbap, the Ultimate ‘Swicy’ Combo
For Elisia, gimbap takes the crown:
“You never know what topping you’ll get, and depending on the ingredients, it can be sweet, spicy, or both. I’ve been loving cheese gimbap lately!”
Nana Keeps It Classic with Sweet Tteokbokki
“I love tteokbokki,” said Nana, “but the versions Korean members eat are usually too spicy for me. We made it together once, and they made it sweeter just for me—it was the best I’ve ever had.”
About the Album: SWICY
UNIS’s new mini album SWICY includes five tracks and highlights the group’s dual charm—sweet on the outside, but with an unexpected kick. The title track “SWICY” blends bubbly rhythms, playful arcade-inspired sounds, and quirky lyrics for a flavor-packed listening experience.
The album drops at 6 PM on April 15.
