AOMG Goes Wild: Kian84 and Jung Chan-sung’s Label Announces Its First-Ever Girl Group!

Global hip-hop label AOMG is entering a bold new era with the unveiling of its “AOMG 2.0” rebranding initiative — which includes the launch of its first-ever girl group.

On April 14 at 6 p.m. KST, AOMG released an eye-catching visual teaser across its official social media channels. The teaser, titled AOMG 2.0, highlights the label’s fresh vision and new creative direction under the slogan “MAKE IT NEW.” Aesthetic clues and “Easter eggs” within the post hint at both current artists and new singers, building major anticipation.

New Artists and a Unique Korean Hip-Hop Identity

Leading the AOMG 2.0 wave is a new artist group called SIKKOO, comprised of members Yoshi, 200 (Ibaek), and Koo Min-jae. The trio first gained viral attention through their Korean remix of “TEAM TOMODACHI”, which surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.

SIKKOO is set to debut on April 29, becoming AOMG’s first new act of 2025. The group aims to craft a uniquely Korean-flavored, yet mass-friendly hip-hop sound — a style they refer to as "homegrown hip-hop."

Perhaps most excitingly, AOMG has confirmed plans to launch a girl group for the first time in its history — in collaboration with H1GHR MUSIC, its sister label. While details remain under wraps, the move signals a major genre and brand expansion for AOMG, traditionally known for its male hip-hop and R&B roster.

Another new solo artist named Newy is also slated to debut soon, adding further diversity to AOMG’s evolving lineup.

In parallel, AOMG's current artists are continuing their creative hustle.

Yugyeom recently wrapped a successful world tour. Kian84, a celebrated webtoonist-turned-entertainer, remains active across multiple variety shows. Jvcki Wai, known for her boundary-pushing artistry, is currently preparing her next project.

With SIKKOO kicking off the AOMG 2.0 movement on April 29 and the label’s first girl group on the horizon, AOMG is clearly charting a bold and dynamic course for 2025.
