Former ASTRO Member Rocky to Rejoin Group On Stage in Honor of Late Moonbin

Former ASTRO member Rocky will reunite with his group for the first time since his departure, joining the upcoming ASTRO solo concert, Fantagio announced on April 14. Though he officially left the group and the agency in February 2023, Rocky has maintained a close friendship with the members and agreed to appear on stage after in-depth discussions.

The special concert, titled The 4th ASTROAD [Stargraphy], celebrates the release of ASTRO’s upcoming single Twilight and will serve as a heartfelt tribute to their journey with fans, AROHA. Rocky will perform only on past songs he was originally part of, creating a nostalgic and emotional experience for fans.

Following the passing of member Moonbin, ASTRO has been promoting as a four-member group. This reunion—featuring Rocky and honoring Moonbin—is expected to be a deeply meaningful moment for both ASTRO and their fans.

ASTRO—which includes members Cha Eun-woo, Yoon San-ha, Jinjin, MJ and formerly Moonbin and Rocky—is also set to hold its first solo concert in three years, according to a local media report on Monday.

This will mark the group’s fourth standalone concert, following the release of their ninth-anniversary digital single “Twilight” in February. The track saw strong success, topping the iTunes Top Albums Chart in three countries and entering Korea’s Melon Hot 100 chart.

Later this month, the group will also release a special digital single in memory of late member Moonbin. The tribute will feature his sister, Moon Sua of Billlie, along with his close friends Seungkwan and DK from SEVENTEEN.

Meanwhile, Cha Eunwoo is expanding his acting career—he has taken on a lead role in the upcoming film First Ride, marking his big-screen debut. He is also currently filming the Netflix series The Wonder Fools.
