Thief Behind Park Na-rae’s Home Robbery Caught! — Here’s What We Know Now

The suspect involved in a recent burglary at the home of South Korean comedian Park Na-rae has been arrested, drawing significant attention due to the swift progress of the case.

Park reported the theft on April 8 after discovering that high-value items had been stolen from her residence in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Although initial expectations suggested that the investigation might face challenges, the police were able to quickly identify and arrest the suspect within a week.

Early speculation suggested the crime may have been committed by someone with insider knowledge. However, Park’s agency, ENP COMPANY, firmly denied these claims in an official statement released on April 14.

ENP COMPANY also confirmed that the police had obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect and expressed gratitude for the swift and thorough work of the investigation team.

Additionally, the agency addressed the spread of false information online and on social media. “We will pursue strong legal action against any baseless rumors or unverified claims without leniency. We urge the public to refrain from making speculative or defamatory comments.”

Details about the stolen items, including their exact number or value, have not been disclosed. Authorities are currently investigating whether the suspect was involved in additional crimes and what their motives were.

In the meantime, Park Na-rae is reportedly taking steps to recover from the incident and prevent similar cases in the future, including reviewing upgrades to her home’s security system.

"We would like to provide an update regarding the recent burglary that occurred at Ms. Park Na-rae’s residence. We believe the incident was a theft committed by an outside intruder, and on April 8, we officially requested a police investigation, providing CCTV footage from the residence.

Following this, the police were able to identify the suspect and proceed with an arrest. It is understood that an arrest warrant has already been issued.
