'Kim Sae-ron Secretly Dated Male Singer A for Over a Year,' Claims YouTuber Lee Jin-ho

Singer WOODZ’s agency addressed the dating rumors involving him and the late actress Kim Sae-ron on April 12.

A representative from EDAM Entertainment (WOODZ’s agency) told News1, “We cannot confirm anything as this concerns his private life. We ask for your understanding.”

The rumors began when YouTuber "Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho" claimed in a recent video that Kim Sae-ron dated a singer referred to as "A" from early 2021 to May 2022. Although he didn’t name the singer, speculation quickly spread online that it was WOODZ.

Fans pointed to clues such as Kim liking WOODZ’s Instagram posts and anonymously sending a coffee truck to the set of his 2021 music video as possible evidence of a relationship. An old article from April 2023 also resurfaced, highlighting Kim liking WOODZ’s posts on social media.

Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron’s family claims she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun from 2016 (when she was 15) until July 2021. They also alleged that her former agency, Gold Medalist, pressured her to repay 700 million KRW in penalties.

Kim Soo-hyun denied the allegations, stating, “I did not date Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor.” He clarified that their relationship lasted from summer 2019 to fall 2020, when both were adults. He also refuted the claim that his agency’s pressure led to her tragic end.

Kim Soo-hyun has filed legal complaints against Kim Sae-ron’s family and the controversial YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute for defamation and threats.
