Music, Laughter, and Unexpected Collaborations.

Singer G-Dragon’s variety project "Good Day" officially came to a close with the broadcast of its final episode on April 13. The finale, which aired on MBC, featured the group completing their collaborative music recordings and enjoying a heartfelt wrap-up.

The final episode opened with the recording sessions, where members like CL, Hong Jin-kyung, Kian84, and Jung Hyung-don each brought their unique vocal styles, capturing G-Dragon’s heart. During times when G-Dragon was busy with his solo concert and personal schedule, fellow musicians like Taeyang, BSS, and Code Kunst stepped in to help with directing the sessions.

With everyone’s parts successfully recorded, G-Dragon went on a whimsical amusement park “date” with Kwanghee, his final match from the 88z lineup. The two roamed the empty park in school uniforms, wearing cute headbands, snapping selfies, and riding attractions. Later, they were joined by Jung Hyung-don, and the trio filmed a hilarious version of G-Dragon’s “Too Bad” challenge in front of a Merry-Go-Round.

In one particularly funny moment, Kwanghee asked, “Is it me or Jung Hyung-don?” Without hesitation, G-Dragon chose Jung Hyung-don, drawing laughter and affirming the unbeatable chemistry the two first shared over a decade ago.

The team later gathered at a restaurant to reflect on the journey. G-Dragon shared, “It was an honor to do this together. I’m so grateful everyone said yes to something as absurd as this project.” He continued, “Honestly, all I did was come in, laugh all day, and go home. I just wanted to create something fun through music, something that would bring joy and laughter to people—even if just for a moment.”

True to that spirit, G-Dragon announced that all proceeds from the project’s music release will be donated. Earlier, the Good Day team had already donated 116.88 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, combining advance donations from expected profits and funds raised through a charity auction of cast members’ personal items.

The project's group song—a reimagined mash-up of “Telepathy” and “By the Moonlit Window” by the band Children of the City—will be released alongside its music video on Thursday, April 24 at 6 PM KST.
