New Claim: “Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron Had Separate Partners"ㅡLee Jin-ho Refutes Minor Allegation

YouTuber Lee Jin-ho has raised suspicions about the authenticity of the claim that actor Kim Soo-hyun was once in a romantic relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor.

Lee Jin-ho questioned whether Kim Sae-ron was lying about the claims, including the KakaoTalk messages and letters suggesting the relationship. According to Lee Jin-ho, both Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun had different partners during that time, and he uploaded another exposé video to present his argument.

On the 9th, a video titled "Shocking Exclusive! The Truth About the Late Kim Sae-ron's Ex-Boyfriend... The Reality of Kim Soo-hyun's 6-Year Romance!" was released on Lee Jin-ho's YouTube channel, "Lee Jin-ho."

In the video, Lee Jin-ho stated, "I have confirmed the details of Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun's past relationship, and it turns out that Kim Soo-hyun had a different partner during the time the rumors of dating a minor arose." He continued, "This relationship lasted from 2016 to the last years of Kim Soo-hyun's military service, approximately 3 years," and emphasized that it was a long-term relationship.

Lee Jin-ho also claimed that the famous "dakdoritang video (Chicken K-food)", which Kim Sae-ron cooked for Kim Soo-hyun in June 2018, which was part of a discussion in the Garo-soro Research Institute (Gaseyeon), was a period when Kim Soo-hyun was still in this relationship. He mentioned that Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun only had a casual relationship, where Kim Sae-ron visited Kim Soo-hyun's house during a long break and the two shared a meal together. Kim Sae-ron was aware that Kim Soo-hyun had a long-term partner, but Lee Jin-ho clarified that Kim Sae-ron had actively pursued contact during this time.

He added, "While there were suspicions that both Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron might have been seeing two people at the same time, I have confirmed that this was not the case." He clarified that Kim Soo-hyun ended his relationship with his partner around the time he was discharged from the military on July 1, 2019, and later confirmed his romance with Kim Sae-ron from the summer of 2019 until the fall of 2020. Lee Jin-ho went on to say, "Both Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had other partners during the same period."

Lee Jin-ho also revealed that Kim Sae-ron had been in relationships with various individuals from her high school years to her freshman year of college. He described how Kim Sae-ron was openly affectionate, even engaging in public displays of affection in the streets. Lee Jin-ho shared a video from 2019 that showed Kim Sae-ron engaging in a public display of affection with a man near Kang-Nam-gu Non-hyeon Station, which he hesitated to share but decided to release in light of the ongoing controversy.

Lee Jin-ho explained that the video was taken by someone who was surprised when they saw Kim Sae-ron being affectionate with a man. He claimed that the video metadata confirmed the footage was taken on May 27, 2019. He stated that the video confirmed both Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had different partners during the same period.

Lee Jin-ho then questioned Kim Sae-ron's claims about her relationship with Kim Soo-hyun, suggesting she may have lied about the details. He referenced Kim Sae-ron's claim in March 2024 that she had taken a photo with Kim Soo-hyun when she was sixteen, but Lee Jin-ho verified through digital evidence that the photo was actually taken in 2019, when Kim Sae-ron was twenty years old. He expressed that, given this discrepancy, viewers should be cautious about accepting Kim Sae-ron's statements as absolute truth.

In addition, Lee Jin-ho hinted that this is not the last of the materials he would release, stating, "I will continue to reveal the information I have and let viewers verify it. Gaseyeon’s (Gaseyeon representative Kim Se-yi) time is running out." He ended by remarking, "The truth may be slow to come out, but it will inevitably be revealed."

With these opposing claims and Lee Jin-ho's continuing exposé, the controversy is likely to escalate again.
