A dream vacation turns into comic chaos in the upcoming film First Ride (working title), where an all-star cast—Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa—teams up to deliver laughs, friendship, and mayhem on their first overseas adventure.
The upcoming film First Ride (working title), directed by Nam Dae-joong, has officially begun filming—and the star-studded cast lineup is already creating buzz. On April 10, distributor Showbox revealed that Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa will lead the project.
First Ride is a comedy that follows a group of childhood friends as they embark on their long-awaited first overseas trip—only to face a series of unpredictable and chaotic events.

Kang Ha-neul reunites with director Nam Dae-joong after their hit film 30 Days. He takes on the role of Tae-jung, a near-perfect elite (except for his overly perfectionist personality), and will showcase fun chemistry with his on-screen friends. Known for balancing sincerity and humor in hits like Twenty, Midnight Runners, When the Camellia Blooms, and Squid Game Season 2, Kang is expected to shine once again.
Kim Young-kwang returns to the big screen in this film, playing Do-jin, a former aspiring basketball player who finds new direction through his friend Yeon-min (played by Cha Eun-woo). From romantic roles to thrillers, Kim’s versatile performances in The Secret of Evil, Call It Love, and Mission: Possible have kept audiences hooked.
Cha Eun-woo makes his comedy film debut as Yeon-min, a dreamer aiming to become a world-famous DJ—even if he’s currently just mixing tracks from home. The ASTRO member has steadily built his acting career through dramas like My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Island, and Wonderful World.
Joining them is Kang Young-seok, recognized for his standout performances on stage and in recent series like Newtopia and Welcome to Samdal-ri. He will play Geum-bok, a friend who turned to religion early in life—bringing his own twist to this unique character.
Han Sun-hwa rounds out the main cast as Ok-shim, the determined and action-oriented member of the group who always gets what she wants. Known for her energetic screen presence in projects like The Pilot, Honey Sweet: 7510, and The Woman Who Plays, Han is expected to bring big laughs in her latest role.
Director Nam Dae-joong, praised for his sharp comedic timing and chemistry-driven storytelling in 30 Days, takes on a larger comedic canvas with First Ride, set in exotic overseas locations. The film officially began filming on March 21.
