Park Na-rae Faces Theft After 5.5B KRW Home Aired on TV—The Loss Is Hard to Believe

Well-known comedian Park Na-rae has reportedly fallen victim to a theft incident involving valuables worth tens of millions of won, shocking many fans and industry insiders.

On the 8th, MBC Standard FM’s "Son Tae-jin’s Trot Radio" announced via its official social media that Park Na-rae’s scheduled appearance was cancelled due to personal circumstances. DJ Son Tae-jin confirmed on the program’s opening that although Park Na-rae was set to appear, she was unable to do so because of these unforeseen personal issues.

The production team indicated that Park Na-rae is expected to return to the program, but behind the scenes, the sudden theft became a major turning point—a fact later reported by Sports Chosun. According to the report, Park Na-rae first learned of the incident on the 7th. At that time, she was not even sure what exactly had been stolen, and the full extent of the losses remains unclear.

Her representatives are currently working to pinpoint the time and amount of the stolen items, and they are also considering whether to file a police report. A close source confirmed, "It’s true that the theft was discovered on the 7th, and now they are weighing up the appropriate countermeasures." No official word has yet been given about a police investigation. The estimated loss is believed to be in the tens of millions of won, as many high-value items were reportedly kept at her residence.

Park Na-rae’s private home is located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul—a detached house reportedly purchased for about 5.5 billion won in 2021. She has previously showcased her luxurious lifestyle and valuable collectibles on programs like MBC’s "I Live Alone."

This incident has only added to the recent media buzz surrounding Park Na-rae, who has been entangled in several controversies in the entertainment scene. Earlier, she was mentioned in connection with a heated live broadcast involving broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo and singer BoA. During that livestream on the 5th, when a viewer inquired about dating rumors between Jun Hyun-moo and Park Na-rae, BoA curtly responded that she did not believe they would ever date, sparking controversy. BoA later apologized on her fan platform and even extended an apology to Park Na-rae.
