Korea’s biggest stars are going head-to-head — the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards just dropped its full list of nominees, and the competition is fierce.

The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci has unveiled its full list of nominees across television, film, and theater — and the competition is more star-studded and intense than ever.

On April 7, the Baeksang Arts Awards committee released this year’s nominations through its official website and social media platforms, highlighting a wide-ranging selection shaped by evolving trends in content consumption, from traditional TV to OTT and web platforms.

🌟 TV Division: Big Names, Bold Dramas, and Expanding Horizons

The TV category has officially been renamed the “Broadcast Division” to reflect the expanding scope. Five high-profile dramas are nominated for Best Drama:

🏆 Event Details

The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci will be held on May 5 at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, and will be broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4. The eligibility period was from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, covering all major platforms including OTT and web content.

With fierce competition across every category and new talents rising alongside industry giants, this year’s Baeksang is set to be one of the most unpredictable and exciting yet.
