JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama Heavenly Ever After drops new stills of Han Ji-min, teasing a mysterious new character—and a possible celestial love triangle with Kim Hye-ja and Son Suk-ku.
Actress Han Ji-min is turning heads with her mysterious transformation in the new JTBC drama Heavenly Ever After (천국보다 아름다운), set to premiere on April 19.
On April 4, JTBC released stills of Han Ji-min as her character Som-i, a woman who appears at the doorstep of a couple’s “heaven house” with no memory of who she is or where she came from—except for one name stuck in her head: Go Nak-jun, played by Son Suk-ku.

A Romance Beyond Life and Death
Heavenly Ever After follows Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja), who arrives in heaven at age 80, only to reunite with her late husband Go Nak-jun—now in his 30s. What unfolds is a romance that transcends time, death, and even memory, mixing laughter with heartwarming depth.

Han Ji-min’s Mysterious Role
Som-i, played by Han Ji-min, is a memoryless woman who unexpectedly moves in with Hae-sook and Nak-jun. Her childlike innocence and bright, angelic smile draw both suspicion and affection. With only Nak-jun’s name left in her mind, Hae-sook begins to feel jealousy and confusion—leading to an unusual love triangle that has viewers intrigued.
Still cuts show Som-i glowing with curiosity and purity, sparking questions about her true identity and her mysterious connection to Nak-jun.
Han Ji-min on Working With Kim Hye-ja Again
This marks Han Ji-min’s fourth collaboration with director Kim Seok-yoon, beginning with their work on Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow. Han Ji-min recently starred in SBS hit drama Love Scout with Lee Jun-hyuk, which gained massive popularity among global audiences. Riding this momentum, the actress' appearance in another romance fantasy drama has sparked curiosity and buzz among K-drama viewers. Speaking about her decision to join the project, she said:
“When I heard the director would be working with Kim Hye-ja again, I didn’t hesitate. I knew I wanted to be part of it, no matter the role.”
She also expressed how captivated she was by the script:
“The idea that you can choose the age you appear in when entering heaven felt deeply unique. It’s a beautiful concept—that even in heaven, life continues, and you still have to live it well.”
Han Ji-min added,
“As a viewer and actor, I kept asking myself, ‘Who is Som-i?’ I wanted to capture her confusion and frustration as honestly as possible.”
JTBC’s Heavenly Ever After premieres April 19 and promises to deliver a heartfelt, thought-provoking take on love, identity, and the afterlife.
