From Itaewon Class to Shin Min-ah’s Label?! Ahn Bo-hyun’s Big Move Shakes Up K-Drama Land
Actor Ahn Bo-hyun has officially signed an exclusive contract with AM Entertainment, joining the same agency as stars Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin.

On April 1st, AM Entertainment announced the news, stating, “We’re thrilled to embark on a new journey with Ahn Bo-hyun, who has built captivating characters across a range of projects with his own unique color. We will give him our full support so he can fully showcase his talents and versatile charm.”
Ahn Bo-hyun made his debut in the 2014 KBS2 drama Golden Cross, and has since starred in various hits including Descendants of the Sun (KBS2), Itaewon Class (JTBC), Kairos (MBC), Yumi’s Cells (tvN), Netflix’s My Name, Military Prosecutor Doberman (tvN), See You in My 19th Life (tvN), as well as the films Noryang: Deadly Sea and Veteran 2. With each project, he’s showcased his solid acting skills and character immersion, establishing himself as a dynamic lead actor.
Most recently, he played chaebol heir-turned-cop Jin Yi-soo in SBS’s Flex x Cop, blending comedy, intensity, and action to much acclaim. The drama was so well-received that a second season was confirmed before the finale even aired. Ahn also won the Top Excellence Award in the Action Genre (Miniseries category) at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, further proving his star power.
His momentum doesn’t stop there. Ahn will soon meet audiences with a more down-to-earth role in the film The Devil Came to Stay, co-starring Im Yoon-ah. He’s also currently filming JTBC’s new drama Divine Bead, where he plays Baek-gyeol, a special task commander searching for sacred relics of national defense, teaming up with veteran actor Lee Sung-min for what’s expected to be an exciting on-screen chemistry.
