Friendship Tensions in the '88z' Celebrity Crew!
Model and actor Lee Soo-hyuk recently shared a playful story about feeling left out by fellow actor Jung Hae-in, during the latest episode of MBC’s variety show ‘Good Day’ aired on March 30.

The segment featured members of the so-called “88z” crew—K-celebs born in 1988—including G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong), Lee Soo-hyuk, Kwanghee, Im Si-wan, and Jung Hae-in.
During the episode, host Defconn brought up a rumor: “I heard G-Dragon got sulky because Hae-in posted camping photos.” Turns out, Hae-in had gone camping without inviting G-Dragon, Lee Soo-hyuk, or Kwanghee.
Soo-hyuk jumped in with a grin, “Right after our 88z hangout, they went camping without us—specifically, leaving out me, Ji-yong, and Kwanghee.”
Si-wan quickly tried to smooth things over, saying the trip had been planned before the Good Day shoot. Still, Soo-hyuk quipped, “Couldn’t he at least have invited us?”
G-Dragon, staying cool with a playful pout, said, “As long as you had fun, that’s what matters,” showing classic chill king energy.

But fans got an extra laugh when it was revealed G-Dragon had screenshot the article about the camping trip and sent it to Jung Hae-in. Hae-in, far from upset, responded warmly: “Honestly, I appreciated it. It means you were watching and cared.”
G-Dragon didn’t hold back his admiration for Hae-in either, calling him “totally my type” and joking, “I guess I really like fair-skinned guys.”
Meanwhile, Lee Soo-hyuk, a longtime real-life friend of G-Dragon’s, couldn’t help but jokingly sulk, “ Since that day, I haven’t really heard from Ji-yong.”
Defconn suggested the 88z crew reunite and post a full-group camping photo, but Soo-hyuk was quick to draw a line: “I’m not really into camping.”
G-Dragon chimed in, “That’s the Soo-hyuk I know—he’s not going.”
Without missing a beat, Soo-hyuk shot back: “The Ji-yong I know wouldn’t go either.” Cue laughter from the whole group.

Later in the episode, Good Day held a full-group “general assembly,” with G-Dragon meeting with girl group aespa beforehand. He shared his reasons for wanting aespa on the show, saying, “I’ve been keeping an eye on them even while I was on hiatus. When I saw them at MAMA recently, they even won an award.”
Meanwhile, actor Kim Soo-hyun, who appeared as memeber of 88z but had been at the center of recent controversy, was entirely edited out of the broadcast.
