Kim Soo-hyun Completely Edited Out… G-Dragon, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Jung Hae-in Gather on 'Good Day'

The 6th episode of Good Day (directed by Kim Tae-ho, produced by TEO), airing Sunday, the 30th at 9:10 p.m., will unveil the long-awaited gathering of the Good Day members, with G-Dragon at the center. Filling the room are solid eldest brother Hwang Jung-min; same-age '88-liners and G-Dragon fans Kian84 and Hong Jin-kyung; Good Day sub-group “Hannam-dong Family” member Kim Go-eun; chef Ahn Sung-jae, who will serve as the show’s “kick”; Seventeen’s BSS unit and aespa, who lit up 2024; and even G-Dragon’s secret weapon, 2NE1's CL. The sheer scale of this Avengers-style lineup left people saying to G-Dragon, “You really went big with this one.”

G-Dragon reflected, “Memories of meeting each person individually are flashing back,” and added, “I’m hopeful that today, we can make a truly good day.”

Interest grows particularly around the dinner tables, divided into three teams, where age and genre barriers are broken for exciting combinations. Hwang Jung-min, who proposed the group meal, created a rare sight by offering a toast with janchi guksu (celebration noodles) in his Gyeongsang dialect, saying, “Thanks for letting me join in.”

Hong Jin-kyung, known for being a huge “Jiyong stan,” excitedly said, “I snapped out of it and realized—G-Dragon in front of me, Lee Soo-hyuk and Jung Hae-in beside me—it’s chaos,” drawing laughter. Moments where Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in express genuine fan love toward Kian84 are also said to be captured, stirring curiosity.

The general meeting will continue with a charity auction of treasured items and the reveal of a group song. Im Si-wan, who made a sudden return from walking the Camino de Santiago to attend, is set to reveal behind-the-scenes stories of his meeting with G-Dragon in Paris. Ahn Sung-jae’s special school meal-themed episode is also expected to draw attention. As new chemistry begins to spark at the meeting, curiosity grows around which song G-Dragon has chosen.

Meanwhile, Good Day previously announced on the 20th, “Episode 6, originally scheduled to air on the 23rd, will be postponed by a week to reorganize the program.” The cancellation was suspected to be due to controversy surrounding one of the cast members, actor Kim Soo-hyun. Kim became embroiled in controversy over rumors that he had dated the late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was still a minor. As a result, all footage of Kim Soo-hyun was edited out from episode 6.

MBC’s Good Day is a music project in which G-Dragon collaborates with people from various fields to create the “song of the year.” Episode 6 airs Sunday the 30th at 9:10 p.m.
