G-Dragon has once again proven his world-class stature—this time, with heart.

Ahead of his highly anticipated world tour concert 'Übermensch', G-Dragon is donating 300 million KRW (approx. $204,600 USD) from concert proceeds to support recovery efforts for regions in South Korea affected by devastating wildfires, including Gyeongsang Province and Ulsan.

His agency, Galaxy Corporation, announced on March 28:
“The donation will come from ticket revenues from the G-Dragon 2025 World Tour [Übermensch] in Korea, held on March 29–30 at Goyang Stadium.”
What makes this gesture even more meaningful is G-Dragon’s message: he sees it not as a solo act of charity, but as a shared contribution with fans—because the tour itself is made possible through their love and support. The donation will go toward recovery and rebuilding efforts, as well as supporting residents who lost their homes and livelihoods.
Through his agency, G-Dragon said, “I sincerely hope for healing and recovery for everyone who has lost their home due to this unexpected disaster. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to the firefighters, emergency responders, and everyone tirelessly working at the frontlines.”
This isn’t the first time G-Dragon has used his influence for good. His philanthropic journey includes the founding of The Just Peace Foundation, a nonprofit established on August 8, 2024, which focuses on mental wellness and spreading peace through various projects.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon is gearing up for his first world tour in nearly 8 years—his last being Act III: M.O.T.T.E held in 2017. The upcoming Übermensch tour begins in Korea and will soon take him across Asia for Phase 1, with stops scheduled in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong.
He’s also drawing global attention through his appearance on MBC’s variety show 'Good Day', where he leads a music project as a producer, collaborating with influential figures from various industries to create a song that captures the essence of the year.
