A Heartfelt Donation: Supporting Wildfire Victims.

Lee Junho, a member of 2PM and actor, has donated ₩100 million to assist residents affected by the large-scale wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions.

On the 27th, Junho delivered the donation to the international relief and development NGO, World Vision, to support children and residents impacted by the wildfires.

The donated funds will be used for emergency relief supplies, urgent livelihood support, as well as for appliances, furniture, and psychological and emotional recovery programs.

JYP, the agency to which Junho belongs, stated, "We deeply sympathize with the residents suffering from the sudden wildfire disaster. We sincerely hope that this painful time passes quickly, and that everyone can return to their peaceful daily lives. We also wish safety to all those involved in the relief efforts."

Junho first became involved with World Vision in 2011 when he supported children in Ethiopia and Ghana. In July 2012, he was officially appointed as a World Vision ambassador and has been actively involved for over 10 years, sharing his heartfelt support in places where help is needed.

Meanwhile, Junho will meet global viewers through his roles in Netflix's 'Cashero' and tvN's upcoming drama 'Typhoon General (working title)'. On the 20th, JYP Entertainment officially announced that Junho’s exclusive contract with the company will end on April 15th. "After deep discussions over a long period of time, the artist has decided not to renew his contract," JYP stated.

JYP also expressed gratitude, saying, "We sincerely thank Junho for accompanying the company’s growth and journey for 17 years. Above all, we are thankful to the fans who have supported him with endless love and encouragement."

Through his agency, Junho expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank everyone for the unwavering support over the past 17 years. I will cherish the valuable relationships and encouragement I’ve received and move forward with them."

As for his activities in Japan, JYP will continue to support Junho.
