Actress Go Min-si also contributes ₩50 million to support victims
Singer and actress Suzy has donated ₩100 million (approx. $68,000 USD) to support wildfire relief efforts in South Korea’s Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang regions.
On March 26, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association confirmed the donation, noting Suzy’s continued commitment to helping communities affected by natural disasters.

Her agency stated, “Suzy was heartbroken to hear about the growing wildfire damage and wanted to offer help in this urgent situation. She hopes the fires will be extinguished as soon as possible and that those affected can return to their daily lives.”
A member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club—a group for high-value donors—Suzy has consistently contributed to disaster relief since her donation during the 2019 Gangwon wildfires. She has since extended her support during typhoons, floods, and other disasters, with her cumulative donations to Hope Bridge now totaling around ₩600 million.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed gratitude, saying, “Suzy’s warm generosity will serve as a message of hope to many. We will do our utmost to ensure her support reaches those in need.”
Founded in 1961 by Korean media outlets and civic organizations, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association specializes in nationwide emergency aid, disaster relief fundraising and distribution, community recovery, and support for vulnerable populations. To date, the organization has distributed over ₩1.6 trillion in aid and 60 million relief items.
Go Min-si Donates ₩50 Million for Wildfire Recovery
Actress Go Min-si has also stepped forward to support wildfire recovery efforts, donating ₩50 million (approx. $34,000 USD) through Hope Bridge on March 26.

“I felt heavy-hearted seeing the damage continue to grow and wanted to be of help in any way I could,” Go said. “Now is the time for all of us to come together. I hope more people join in this effort.”
Like Suzy, Go Min-si is also a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club. She first joined the organization through a donation to the 2019 Gangwon wildfires and has since consistently shown her support during floods and other disasters.
Hope Bridge is currently delivering emergency supplies to wildfire sites in Uiseong (North Gyeongsang) and Sancheong (South Gyeongsang), including laundry aid trucks and recovery buses stationed at temporary shelters. Additional support is under review in coordination with local authorities.
