Jungkook's 'Seven' Breaks YouTube Records!
The music video for BTS member Jungkook’s debut solo single ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ has surpassed 500 million views on YouTube—a first for any of his solo tracks.

Originally released simultaneously worldwide in July 2023, the music video reached the milestone on March 22 at around 3:53 a.m. KST. ‘Seven’ is a romantic track that expresses the desire to be with a loved one every day of the week. The song blends warm acoustic guitar with the rhythm of UK garage—a genre of electronic music that gained popularity in early 1990s Britain—layered with Jungkook’s smooth vocals and a catchy, addictive melody.

The music video plays out like a short film, portraying Jungkook's week-long efforts to prove his love to his partner. It ends with the two walking hand-in-hand, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ continues to enjoy long-standing popularity on global charts. Jungkook has maintained his presence on Billboard’s Global (Excl. U.S.) and Global 200 charts for 87 and 86 consecutive weeks, respectively, setting a new record for the longest-charting K-pop soloist in history.
The track has also remained on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for an impressive 88 weeks, further cementing its worldwide appeal.
Meanwhile, fellow BTS member J-Hope is also making waves with his latest digital single ‘Mona Lisa’, which topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 67 countries as of 8 a.m. KST on March 22, according to BigHit Music.

Mona Lisa also hit No. 1 on both the Worldwide iTunes and European iTunes song charts, while its music video ranked among the top 10 trending videos on YouTube in 22 countries including the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Released just two weeks after ‘Sweet Dreams’ on March 7, ‘Mona Lisa’ is a hip-hop R&B track that compares an enchanting love interest to the iconic Renaissance painting.
In a behind-the-scenes recording video released the day before, J-Hope shared, “My goal was clear—first and foremost, I wanted to make music people could enjoy. If those who like me enjoy the music too, that’s all I could ask for.”
