'Professor' GD Donates Concert Tickets to KAIST—Mechanical Engineering Students to Be Selected by Lottery
Ahead of his upcoming concert, G-Dragon, who recently joined KAIST as an adjunct professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has donated tickets to be distributed to students through a lottery.
According to News1 on the 21st, KAIST’s Mechanical Engineering Administration Team recently sent an email to students titled “G-Dragon Concert Ticket Lottery for Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Students.”

The email stated, “Professor Kwon Ji-yong, who has been appointed as an adjunct professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (as of June 4, 2024), has donated concert tickets for student welfare, providing students with an opportunity to attend the concert.”
It went on to say, “In order to give students the chance to attend, we will hold a ticket lottery for undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.”
The event is based on a recent donation of several concert tickets to KAIST by G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation.
