J-Hope, Jennie, IVE & More: K-Pop Stars Set to Take Over Global Music Festivals
The global influence of K-pop continues to grow as top stars—including BTS’s J-Hope, BLACKPINK’s Jennie & Lisa, TWICE, and IVE—gear up for performances at some of the world’s biggest music festivals. From Lollapalooza Berlin and Chicago to Coachella and Tecate Pa’l Norte, K-pop artists are making their mark on major international stages.
J-Hope Returns as Lollapalooza Berlin Headliner
J-Hope will take the main stage as a headliner at Lollapalooza Berlin on July 12–13, marking his first solo performance at a European festival. This comes three years after his historic 2022 headlining set at Lollapalooza Chicago, where he became the first South Korean artist to lead a major U.S. festival lineup.
Adding to the excitement, IVE will also perform at Lollapalooza Berlin, following their well-received debut at Lollapalooza Chicago in 2023. Fans are eager to see how they will elevate their stage presence at the German festival.
TWICE to Headline Lollapalooza Chicago
On July 31 – August 3, TWICE will take on the massive Lollapalooza Chicago stage, where an average of 115,000 festivalgoers per day gather. As one of the biggest girl groups in the world, their headlining slot further solidifies K-pop’s dominance in the global music industry. NewJeans was the K-pop headlining act in 2023.
Additionally, several rising K-pop acts will perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, including:
BOYNEXTDOOR
Xdinary Heroes
KATSEYE (debuting on a major U.S. festival stage just over a year after forming)
Kickflip (making their large-scale festival debut only six months post-debut)
Jennie & Lisa to Make Solo Appearances at Coachella 2025
Before summer festival season kicks off, K-pop stars will take the stage at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April.
Jennie (BLACKPINK) will perform as a solo artist on April 13 & 20, marking her first solo Coachella performance after headlining the festival with BLACKPINK in 2019 and 2023.
Lisa will also take the stage independently on April 11 & 18, making her one of the few K-pop soloists to perform at Coachella.
ENHYPEN is set to make history as the fastest K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella, appearing on April 12 & 19.
Coachella, which attracts over 200,000 attendees across two weekends, remains one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world, and the continued presence of K-pop artists further cements the genre’s mainstream success in the U.S.

SEVENTEEN to Make History at Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025
Expanding K-pop’s presence in Latin America, SEVENTEEN will headline Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 on April 4 in Monterrey, Mexico. After seeing much success at Lollapalooza Berlin 2024, the group is now making headway in Latin America as Tecate Pa’l Norte's main K-pop act.
Often called "Mexico’s Coachella," Tecate Pa’l Norte is the largest music festival in Latin America, and SEVENTEEN will be the first K-pop act ever to perform at the event. Their participation signals a growing demand for K-pop in Latin markets, following the success of groups like BTS, BLACKPINK, and NCT in Latin America.
K-Pop’s Global Festival Takeover Continues
With K-pop artists now headlining major music festivals across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, it’s clear that the genre is no longer just a niche phenomenon but a dominant force in global entertainment.
