On March 19, G-Dragon’s official YouTube channel released a behind-the-scenes video of the "Too Bad" MV, shedding light on how Karina was cast for the role. Interestingly, it was G-Dragon himself who strongly insisted on casting Karina.

G-Dragon Personally Chose Karina for the MV
The video shows G-Dragon discussing the MV production with performance directors and the creative team. He personally took charge of the concept and overall direction of the shoot.
During the discussion, the production team suggested that the bridge section of the MV needed a female lead to create a certain dynamic. G-Dragon agreed, saying, “There has to be a female lead,” before firmly concluding, “It has to be Karina.”
It turns out, G-Dragon himself was the one who cast Karina for the role.

The behind-the-scenes footage also captured G-Dragon and Karina’s first meeting on set, where they instantly displayed incredible chemistry, creating a visually stunning and iconic scene.
