Park Seo-jun Draws Unexpected Controversy with Kim Soo-hyun: Bizarre Incident Unfolds

Actor Park Seo-jun has unexpectedly become entangled in controversy regarding his close friend Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron.

The incident stems from a photo posted by Park Seo-jun on his Instagram on March 16. In the post, Park, dressed in black, captioned the image "What was I doing in Paris? Horizontal (which reads 'Garo' in Korean)" and shared a photo of himself. However, the post inadvertently led to a misunderstanding by Kim Se-ui, who runs the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Institute', known for revealing the relationship between Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron.

Kim Se-ui appeared to misinterpret the post, particularly the part where Park Seo-jun mentions "Paris," and speculated during the March 17 broadcast of his show, saying, "Kim Soo-hyun’s nickname was 'YouTuber Kim Paris.' He exchanged love letters with Kim Sae-ron, and now this post from Park, 'What was I doing in Paris? Horizontal(which reads 'Garo' in Korean),' seems to reference that."

Kim Se-ui further commented, "This seems very meaningful. The YouTuber Kim Paris is being dealt with by Garo Sero Institute. We will work harder to clear up Kim Sae-ron’s grievances. Go Park Seo-jun!!!" adding a comment on the post. Park Seo-jun and Kim Soo-hyun are known to be close friends, and this raised further confusion among fans.

Fans quickly countered Kim Se-ui’s claim, pointing out that Park Seo-jun has been posting photos with the terms ‘Vertical’ or ‘Horizontal’ for a while to describe the orientation of his photos. They argued that Kim Se-ui’s interpretation was completely baseless.

In a related note, Park Seo-jun shared a personal story on 2024's Yojung-jaehyung YouTube channel, explaining that after his military discharge, Kim Soo-hyun helped him join a agency. He recalled, "After I discharged, through a friend of a friend, I was introduced to Kim Soo-hyun, who helped me get into his agency. Kim Soo-hyun gladly connected me with the company."

Park Seo-jun expressed his gratitude, recounting the moment he visited the agency and how the CEO offered him a contract with confidence, saying, "This is a standard contract, but if you’re unsure, you can consult a lawyer."
