A Unique Story About Developing an Insurance Plan for Life After Divorce
With K-dramas and variety shows centered around divorce gaining popularity, tvN’s latest Monday-Tuesday drama is already making waves ahead of its premiere.

Titled 'The Divorce Insurance', the series takes on divorce as a modern-day crisis and follows the creation of a one-of-a-kind insurance policy designed to support life after separation.
Lee Dong-wook stars as Noh Gi-joon, an actuary who has gone through three divorces. Using his own experiences, he pitches the bold and unconventional idea of divorce insurance.

The Divorce Insurance Task Force is composed of a team of four unique specialists:
Noh Gi-joon (Lee Dong-wook) – The seasoned actuary with a failed track record in product launches
Kang Han-deul (Lee Joo-bin) – A meticulous underwriter
Ahn Jeon-man (Lee Kwang-soo) – A risk surveyor with a sharp eye
Jeon Na-rae (Lee Da-hee) – A quant analyst serving as a special advisor
As they work together to successfully launch this unprecedented insurance policy, their dynamic teamwork delivers a mix of comedy, chaos, and high-energy entertainment.
The drama’s latest trailer, released on March 17, surpassed 50 million views within six hours, signaling strong anticipation.

The teaser opens with Noh Gi-joon asking, "Is there an insurance policy that guarantees a happy life after divorce?"
Despite his credentials, every product he has launched so far has failed. That’s when he comes up with the idea of a revolutionary new type of insurance. However, promoting divorce insurance at a wedding expo lands him in an awkward situation, leading him to sarcastically remark, "This is like selling refrigerators in the North Pole."
Online viewers were quick to react with comments like:
"With that face and background, how did Lee Dong-wook get divorced three times?"
"This looks so good—I can’t wait!"
"Yoo Jae-suk is definitely going to promote this show hard."
"I love this weirdly chaotic concept."
"It’s been a while since we saw the 'Yamseangi Couple' back together!"
'The Divorce Insurance' premieres on March 31 at 8:50 PM KST on tvN and will also be available worldwide on Amazon Prime Video.
