Karaoke Night with Unexpected Guests!
The March 16 episode of MBC’s variety show ‘Good Day’ featured G-Dragon meeting up with Jung Hyung-don, Defconn, and Code Kunst ahead of the show’s press conference.

Jung Hyung-don Teases G-Dragon Over His Star Power
Known for their incredible chemistry, Jung Hyung-don shared a moment when he truly felt the gap between his close friend G-Dragon and the global superstar version of him. Referring to G-Dragon’s recent charity event in Paris, Jung Hyung-don jokingly asked, “Did you fly business class to Paris? The First Lady of France invited you—shouldn’t she have booked you a first-class ticket?” The comment drew laughter from the group.

He then went on to praise G-Dragon’s legendary status, revealing, “I was amazed when I saw BTS and Rosé bowing to him at a full 90-degree angle.” But in true comedic fashion, he added, “How strict were you with them all these years?” sending everyone into fits of laughter. G-Dragon couldn’t hold back his own amusement at the joke.
🎶 G-Dragon’s Karaoke Night with Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae-in
Later in the episode, G-Dragon showcased his playful side by stopping by a karaoke room with actors Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae-in. He wowed everyone with a live rendition of 4MEN’s ‘Baby Baby’ and his own hit ‘Crooked’, proving that his vocal skills are as sharp as ever.
‘Good Day’ Responds to Kim Soo-hyun Controversy
Meanwhile, ‘Good Day’ addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding cast member Kim Soo-hyun following allegations about his past relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron.
Since March 10, Kim Sae-ron’s family has been making claims via the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (Gaseyeon), stating that she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun for six years, dating back to when she was 15 years old, while Kim Soo-hyun was already an adult.

On March 17, the production team released an official statement on social media, acknowledging the potential impact of the controversy on the show.
“As long as the controversy surrounding one of our cast members continues, we believe that it could tarnish the original purpose of ‘Good Day’, the sincerity of our participating cast, and the love and support from our viewers,” they stated.
They clarified that the ‘Good Day General Meeting’ segment, which aired in episode 5 and will continue over the next 6 to 7 episodes, was filmed on February 18, well before the controversy emerged. As a result, they have decided to minimize Kim Soo-hyun’s appearances through editing.
They also revealed that his individual voiceover recording from March 13 will not be broadcast. Regarding Kim Soo-hyun’s appearance in episode 5, the production team explained, “Given the serious nature of the issue, we prioritized viewer response in our editing decisions. However, since the show is pre-produced two weeks in advance due to translation requirements for international broadcasts, the episode had already been submitted for distribution to MBC and global OTT platforms.”
In an urgent move, they edited out his segments from the previously finalized episode, leading to a 10-minute shorter runtime and some inconsistencies in the final cut.
Closing their statement, the producers promised, “We will do our best to ensure that the remaining episodes continue to bring joy to our viewers while respecting the emotions of all cast members involved. We will work hard to make ‘Good Day’ a program that brings people together on good days, with good people.”
