Seo Yea-ji has spoken out about the rumors linking her to Kim Soo-hyun, expressing her frustration over the ongoing speculation.

On March 13, Seo posted a message on her official fan café, 'Yeye Yechang,' addressing the rumors involving Kim Soo-hyun.
"To my beloved yeye [a term of endearment for her fans], I'm only human too… This is overwhelming, exhausting… It's suffocating… I endure and endure…," she wrote. "I impulsively replied to a comment… but then deleted it…"
She also shared a screenshot of a comment left by a netizen on her Instagram. The comment read, "Unnie, did Kim Soo-hyun cheat while managing his relationship status? Don’t disappoint us a second time. I just read the news on TikTok."

In response, Seo clarified, "Can we… please… stop this now? I have absolutely no relationship with him or his brother… I don’t even know why I have to explain this."
The rumor stems from Seo's past connection with Kim Soo-hyun. In 2020, the two starred together in the hit drama ''It's Okay to Not Be Okay.'' She later joined Gold Medalist, a company co-founded by Kim Soo-hyun's relative, sparking dating rumors. However, Seo parted ways with the agency in December 2022 and is now under Sublime Artist Agency.
Meanwhile, Seo recently paid tribute to the late actress Kim Sae-ron by posting a single white chrysanthemum on Instagram without any caption.
