Celebrity Reveals She Went to School with Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Suzy & Hyeri

Singer Kim Hee-jin recently shared fond memories from her school days, revealing surprising connections with top K-pop stars.

On the March 12 broadcast of TBN Korea’s Meet at Noon with Kim Hyo-jin & Yang Sang-guk, Kim Hee-jin and Ahn Ji-wan made a guest appearance, bringing energy and laughter to the show.

Introducing himself for the first time on the program, Ahn Ji-wan playfully declared, “I’m here to steal the hearts of all the noonas!” Meanwhile, Kim Hee-jin, reuniting with listeners after her Two Sisters promotions, added, “This time, we’re back as siblings!” showcasing their fun chemistry.

The duo also surprised listeners by revealing their pre-debut careers. Kim Hee-jin shared that she was not only a backing vocalist for trot singers but also a former idol trainee. Ahn Ji-wan, on the other hand, revealed he was the main vocalist of the trot idol group Jeonggukgu.

The episode also uncovered unexpected friendships in the entertainment industry. Ahn Ji-wan expressed his deep admiration for trot singer Shin Yu, saying, “He’s my role model. I once thought about quitting music, but he took me out for a meal and encouraged me to keep going.”

Kim Hee-jin then dropped a fun revelation, sharing that she attended an arts high school alongside Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Suzy, and Hyeri. “I was classmates with them, and I still keep in touch with Seulgi even now,” she said, expressing her gratitude.
