The singer recently won a civil lawsuit against SPK Entertainment (CEO Kim Seung-pil) regarding unpaid settlements.

Lee signed an exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment in August 2022. However, he was not provided with the promised contract fee or the necessary support for TV appearances, fan meetings, and album releases. Despite sending certified documents and requesting corrective action for the contract violations, the agency failed to respond. Frustrated by the continued silence, Lee officially notified the agency of his contract termination last year. A court later granted his injunction request, legally freeing him from the contract.

Alongside this legal battle, Lee also filed a lawsuit demanding payment for settlements related to his INFINITE activities, YouTube appearances, and a Japan fan meeting—covering roughly two years of work. After a year-long legal process, he finally won the case on February 28.

The court ruled, "The defendant (SPK Entertainment) must pay the plaintiff (Lee Sung-jong) the settlement amount with an annual interest of 6% from April 21, 2023, to February 28, 2025, and 12% from the following day until full payment is made."

Meanwhile, INFINITE made a grand comeback on March 6 with their eighth mini album, LIKE INFINITE. The group is set to hold their 15th-anniversary encore concert, LIMITED EDITION, on April 12-13 at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
