When asked about the unexpected potato-related connection between her drama and Lee Kwang-soo’s recent tvN variety show GBRB Spinoff: Cafeteria Operation (Kong Kong Bap Bap), where he worked in a cafeteria serving potato dishes, Lee Sun-bin laughed, saying, “I was honestly surprised at first. Of all the staple crops, it’s funny how we both ended up linked to potatoes.”

In The Potato Lab, Lee Sun-bin plays Kim Mi-kyung, an assistant manager in the potato research division at Sun-nyeo Foods.

A heartwarming rom-com, The Potato Lab follows Mi-kyung as she navigates life and work alongside Baek-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh), a cold-hearted perfectionist. The drama is set to premiere on March 1 at 9:20 PM KST on tvN.
