Actress Shares Amusing Coincidence at The Potato Lab Press Conference
Lee Sun-bin couldn’t help but mention her boyfriend, actor Lee Kwang-soo, while discussing her upcoming tvN drama The Potato Lab.

During the drama’s press conference on February 27 at Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Seoul, Lee Sun-bin, along with co-stars Kang Tae-oh, Lee Hak-joo, Kim Ga-eun, and Shin Hyun-seung, shared insights about the show.

When asked about the unexpected potato-related connection between her drama and Lee Kwang-soo’s recent tvN variety show GBRB Spinoff: Cafeteria Operation (Kong Kong Bap Bap), where he worked in a cafeteria serving potato dishes, Lee Sun-bin laughed, saying, “I was honestly surprised at first. Of all the staple crops, it’s funny how we both ended up linked to potatoes.”

She then jokingly added, “It made me wonder—does tvN have some kind of unfinished business with potatoes?” drawing laughter from the audience.

In The Potato Lab, Lee Sun-bin plays Kim Mi-kyung, an assistant manager in the potato research division at Sun-nyeo Foods.
A heartwarming rom-com, The Potato Lab follows Mi-kyung as she navigates life and work alongside Baek-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh), a cold-hearted perfectionist. The drama is set to premiere on March 1 at 9:20 PM KST on tvN.
