Gaining attention with its star-studded cast.
A new Korean drama is creating major buzz for its star-studded cast, with fans calling it an "Avengers-level" lineup. The show in question? 'The Divorce Insurance.'

tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Divorce Insuranc'e is a workplace romantic comedy centered around an insurance company’s innovation team as they develop a groundbreaking product: divorce insurance. As the follow-up to 'My Dearest Nemesis', the drama takes a fresh approach by treating divorce as an unforeseen disaster, weaving in a realistic yet entertaining story of personal growth.
On February 26, the newly released poster featured Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee striking different expressions in front of a massive billboard. The tagline—“For everyone, whether married, remarried, single, or divorced!”—paired with the cast’s polished looks and confident poses, instantly grabbed attention. Lee Dong-wook, in particular, stood out with his thumbs-up gesture, exuding charisma and setting high expectations for this unique drama.

The teaser video, also released the same day, showcased Lee Dong-wook in a sharp suit, explaining various types of insurance—fire, earthquake, and finally, divorce insurance. The ad-like presentation of the teaser made a strong impression on viewers, effectively highlighting the drama’s concept.
One of the biggest reasons fans are eagerly awaiting 'The Divorce Insurance' is its impressive cast.
Lee Dong-wook, a veteran actor since 1999, has starred in hits like 'Strangers from Hell', 'Tale of the Nine Tailed', 'A Shop for Killers', and the film 'The Beauty Inside'. He recently made a special appearance in the blockbuster movie 'Harbin', keeping up his streak of high-profile projects.
Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee have all built solid careers, earning recognition for their acting skills. Lee Da-hee and Lee Kwang-soo, in particular, have showcased their natural wit and charm in variety shows like 'Single’s Inferno', and 'Running Man' making them beloved household names.

A Fun Coincidence? The "Lee" Connection
Fans have picked up on an interesting pattern—every lead actor, as well as the director and writer, share the surname "Lee." Even the drama’s Korean title begins with "Lee." This fun coincidence has sparked online discussions, with some joking that it might have been intentional.
Additionally, the cast members have all played key roles in tvN’s biggest hits. Lee Dong-wook’s 'Goblin' remains one of the network’s highest-rated dramas, peaking at 20%. Lee Joo-bin gained massive recognition through 'Queen of Tears', which recorded a whopping 24.9% viewership. Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo is currently entertaining audiences on the variety show ' Green Bean, Red Bean spin-off : Cafeteria Operation', which premiered last month. Lee Da-hee also has an impressive track record, leading 'L.U.C.A.: The Beginning' in 2021 with a solid 6.3% rating.

The drama centers around the innovative team at Plus Insurance, each member bringing a unique personality to the mix:
Lee Dong-wook plays Noh Ki-joon, a top-tier actuary with a flawless resume—except for the fact that he’s been divorced three times. Viewing divorce as an unexpected life disaster, he takes the lead in designing the divorce insurance policy, evolving through the process.
Lee Joo-bin stars as Kang Han-deul, an underwriter who finds new purpose after her own divorce, actively contributing to the product’s development.
Lee Kwang-soo portrays Ahn Jeon-man, a risk surveyor who prioritizes safety above all else but has a timid personality. Lee Da-hee plays Jeon Na-rae, a financial mathematician with a sharp, analytical mind who views everything from an investment perspective. Her confidence and charisma add depth to the team dynamic.
Fans are already buzzing with excitement, saying things like, “Lee Dong-wook is finally back in a romantic comedy!” and “His chemistry with Lee Joo-bin already looks amazing.” Many are praising the star-studded cast, calling it “seriously next level,” while others are particularly excited about the duo of Lee Dong-wook and Lee Kwang-soo, predicting, “This will be gold.” Meanwhile, Lee Da-hee’s return to dramas after 'Single’s Inferno' is also generating anticipation, with viewers eagerly waiting for the premiere, exclaiming, “Hurry up and air already!”
According to the production team, the drama will showcase how top professionals analyze and quantify aspects of divorce, turning it into an engaging and humorous exploration of relationships. With a stellar cast, sharp writing, and an intriguing premise, 'The Divorce Insurance' is set to deliver a refreshing take on workplace romance.
The drama premieres on March 31, airing every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM (KST).
